Over the past seventeen years, Renee has been working in a variety of legal capacities to help families make the hard decisions about their futures. She is an excellent litigator, accredited mediator and negotiator who takes a common-sense approach to problems. Whenever possible, she knows that amicable solutions are the best for all involved, but she won't hesitate to seek judicial intervention when necessary. Renee is comfortable representing Family Law clients at all levels of the courts in Ontario and she is an excellent advocate to have in your corner.

Renee is a member of the Alberta Bar and practised in Calgary from 2009 - 2011 before returning home to Hamilton. She is highly regarded by colleagues, is a member of the Hamilton Law Association (Family Law Subcommittee), the Hamilton Child Protection Bench and Bar Committee, and the Wellington County Law Association. She is a panel member of the Office of the Children's Lawyer and the Family Responsibility Office. As well, she volunteers and speaks at legal training courses, sharing her wide knowledge with other professionals. Through the Ontario Association for Family Mediation, she is an accredited Family Mediator, and an accredited child protection mediator. She is also a facilitator for settlement conferences on behalf of Legal Aid in many communities in Southern Ontario and she is a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Hamilton Superior Court of Justice.
