About Renee M. Roy (B.A., LL.B.)
Born and raised in Hamilton, Renee was called to the Bar in 2004 and has been helping families ever since. Whether you're looking for advice, have questions about a legal matter or need help with a serious problem, she's in your corner.
Life can be hard and the best decisions are informed decisions.
Over the past thirteen years, Renee has been working in a variety of legal capacities to help families make the hard decisions about their futures. She is an excellent litigator and negotiator who takes a common-sense approach to problems. Whenever possible, she knows that amicable solutions are the best for all involved, but she won't hesitate to seek judicial intervention when necessary.
Renee is a member of the Alberta Bar and practised in Calgary from 2009 - 2011 before returning home to Hamilton. She is highly regarded by colleagues, is a member of the Hamilton Law Association and a panelist with the Office of the Children's Lawyer. She volunteers with the Hamilton Justice Education Network and speaks at legal training courses, sharing her wide knowledge with other professionals.
Renee is comfortable representing Family Law clients at all levels of the courts in Ontario and she is an excellent advocate to have in your corner.
